FINALLY.
The last of them all.
Sorry it took me a while but I kind of forgot about BKK part IV cos it is quite a short post, consisting of:
1) Mee pok hidden away in one of Pratunam's many alleys, but this is quite easy to find. It is the first alley next to Soi 19 famous wanton mee (refer to Day 2).
And I swear anything the Thais cook up is magical... and probably because they use MSG like it's end of the world as well haha! This simple dish was very savoury, with bouncy balls and noodles that hid many pieces of pork lard. So delightful for the mouth!
2) And we did a very Singaporean thing.
Eating KFC in a foreign land as our last meal. You know how some people make it a point to try Mac or Kfc where ever they travel to? Something like that.
But we were definitely more greedy than hungry. Or curious.
Still, no regrets eating this just a few hours after our "mee pok"s. The chicken tasted fresh with a wicked crispy skin... must be another of those "the grass is greener on the other side" symptoms.
With this, I conclude BKK'14 and I hope you guys enjoyed reading about our foodie explorations!
Now, time to start on all those backlogs of good food...
